Seven years ago, at a very difficult time in my life, I found myself needing a highly trained protection dog. Due to not being able to get to Frankfort that day, they had one of their trainers bring a dog to my home. I ended up buying CJ and have never regretted it. Over the years, I have purchased two more trained Shepherds and referred numerous friends.

Our training enabled CJ to earn her CD title. We came in first 3 out of 5 times, once scoring 196.5 out of a possible 200. I became aware of David Harris in 1998 after purchasing my first GSD from a backyard breeder. I quickly discovered David's training is as much about teaching the owner how to train their dog as it is about him training the dog.

In 2011 I got another GSD. With my new puppy only 9 weeks old we began shaping techniques, clicker training, and positive reinforcement. Even though Champ is only 7 months old I already see more true GSD characteristics in him than my previous dog. With continued training I am excited to see him develop — he has already become a highly valued extension of our family.

Over the course of my 19 years in Emergency Services, 10 of them in Law Enforcement, I have never met more disciplined, well-trained K9s. I purchased Anders (Andy) Von Prufenpuden from you almost 4 years ago. I love that dog. All of the training we have done with you has permanently bonded us. I can't believe how far you have helped me bring Andy in his protective instincts.

He absolutely adores my grandson and refuses to leave his side when James is staying with me. I pity the person foolish enough to try to harm my grandson or me. I came to David with a very specific request, an 8-week-old working line Doberman I wanted trained for protection, sociable as a pet around children, in less than 6 months, because I had to move to Egypt. The end result was better than I ever imagined. I came in with a 2-month-old puppy and left with a 7-month-old dog better trained than 99% of the dogs I know.

David custom-tailored a training program to exactly fit what I wanted and fast-tracked it to suit my timeline. In August of 2001, my 11-year-old daughter, 10-month-old Jerry, and I earned our AKC Companion Dog Title. We would later earn an AKC CDX, a Sch BH, and SchH1. My current dog Cupid earned a Sch BH and the praise of a highly respected judge. Cupid loves puppies, small dogs, and children. When he is working he is all in. When he is not, he just wants his belly scratched.

I brought David my 11-week-old Doberman Capone. In our first meeting, Capone was not confident and peed himself when he got nervous. It didn't take long for David to mold Capone into the very obedient family protection dog that he is now.
